Painting with Words.
When we read a good poem, we can be forever changed by the poet's words that often reflect emotions we are also experiencing.  Using imagery, metaphor, and inner music, we'll read and write poems to free ourselves in processing experiences that throw us off balance.  What's personal is universal.  Included: u
pper-body gentle yoga to soothe anxiety and complex trauma.
Facilitated by Devora Weinapple, MFT, ATR-BC.  Co-facilitator: Jean Varda, a visionary Poet, author of She Was Attached to Symmetry (2014), Jean started four open mikes, taught poetry writing workshops, and was nominated for a Pushcart prize—all while raising two daughters and working as a hospice nurse.

Donate with your registration

Please feel free to donate as much or as little as you wish.  Our suggested donation is $5 per session.  Your assistance will allow us to meet our expenses for supplies so that we can offer these groups throughout the year.

If you prefer not to donate at this time, please RSVP to reserve a seat.  If you need to cancel, please let Cynthia know with enough notice so that someone else can have your space.

And of course, we are grateful if you wish to donate without registering.  You can do so here.
